The Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Centre, in London , first became active in 1974 and was established as a charitable trust in 1980. The Centre offers an 18-month City University Post Graduate Diploma Course in Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy, and a two-year program leading to a Masters degree in Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy. It also supports research, houses archive materials, and acts as a place of meeting and sharing for the British Society for Music Therapy and the Association of Professional Music Therapists in Great Britain .
